Create a Chronological Series

On her son Ethan’s second birthday, Leah LaMontagne snapped several photos of his one-on-one time with the cake. Hoping to include many of the shots, Leah cropped and matted the photos to create a chronological series leading to her focal point. A prominent initial, trimmed from a complementary color and positioned over strips of monochromatic patterned paper, anchors her title and balances her design.
