Time-Saving Technique

Using sheets of double-sided patterned paper, she cut 6" squares to serve as backgrounds or to cut into accent strips already measured to the right length. Helen constructed her pages quickly by layering pieces of the patterned paper and adding simply matted photos and short photo captions printed on white card stock. Repeating coordinating embellishments, such as buttons, acrylic words, and flower punches, and following similar page design throughout the album aided Helen’s quick assembly and cohesive results.
