Get in Character

design by Lisa Storms

Grown-ups can use children’s characters, too! If you’re stuck with piles of your kid’s favorite character-theme products, you don’t have to wait for a themed birthday party or Halloween to use them.

Here, Lisa created a page dedicated to her marriage with the subtle help of a classic cartoon couple, Mickey and Minnie. She lifted up vellum fireworks stickers with adhesive foam to update the look.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: Heidi Grace Designs. Font: TypoSlabserif-Light off the Internet. Stickers: EK Success (Mickey and Minnie), Heidi Grace Designs (label holder), Cloud 9 Designs (“fireworks”), Autumn Leaves (“still feeling”). Rub-ons: Heidi Grace. Punch: Fiskars.
