Film Speed and FlashTaking photos of jack-o’-lanterns isn’t difficult, but there are tricks to capturing shots with all the drama and interest your eye sees. Here are a few pointers: Tip 1: Use fast film. Because you’ll be working in low-light situations, it’s best to choose a film with an ISO of at least 400. Tip 2: Turn off your flash. A bright burst of light will destroy the glow emanating from lit pumpkins, so it’s best to shut off the flash and let the flame light the scene.
