Easy Lollipop Valentines

Make the coolest Valentines on the block by wrapping up a sucker in style. Here’s how:

1. Measure your sucker’s height and width. Cut a rectangle of patterned paper to the width of the sucker plus 1/4” and the two times the height of the sucker plus 2”. (Our sucker was 3” tall and wide, so we cut a rectangle of patterned paper measuring 3-1/4x8”.)

2. Bend the piece once at the height of the sucker, again 1/4” from the first fold, and finally 3/4” from the other end.

3. Punch a hole on the fold closest to the end. Place a brad on each side of the fold to secure it closed. This is where your stick will fit.

4. Add rub-ons, stickers, punches, and other embellishments to the front. Poke the sucker through the hole and close like a matchbook.

SOURCES Stickers: American Crafts. Rub-ons: BasicGrey. Punches, decorative-edge scissors: Fiskars. Brads: SEI (circle), Bazzill Basics Paper (square). Ribbon: May Arts. Pen: Sakura of America. Design: Erin Roe.
