TEAR YOUR PAPER
Design by Kristen Swain
Taking inspiration from a St. Patrick’s Day tradition, Kristen photographed her behatted daughter holding a handful of chocolate coins. To add texture, Kristen tore her patterned paper (green, of course) and machine-stitched it to the solid cardstock background, giving it distinct edges.
SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper, die cuts: KI Memories. Fonts: Palace Script MT (“more,” “than”) off the Internet, Evergreen (“valuable,” “gold”) by Two Peas in a Bucket, Times New Roman (journaling). Stickers: Me and My Big Ideas. Ribbon: Offray (gingham), May Arts (polka dot). Paper flowers: Prima. Corner rounder: Fiskars.
