Mothers of toddlers, never fear: It’s not too late to scrapbook baby photos. Erin Terrell found a quick and easy way to get a stack of baby photos of her daughter Daisy into a scrapbook—and Daisy is 8! With an album kit and cardstock, Erin saved time by not having to make several product choices, and she finished Daisy’s album in a flash.

1. Start by choosing your photos. Because Erin’s photos were of different scenes and had varying color schemes, she thought about scanning the prints and converting them all to black-and-white. But the coordinated and subtle pastel papers in the kit allowed her to mix photos with a variety of hues without severe color clashes.
2. Group your photos chronologically. Erin had a few years’ worth of photos, so she decided to color-code the layouts. The pink layouts are from Daisy’s first year, the purple from the next year, and so on.
3. Add simple embellishments. Using accents from a kit means you won’t have to worry about finding matching pieces. The kit Erin used came with stickers, brads, ribbon, and decorative metal accents.
