Celebrate the SEason

A snow globe was the obvious inspiration for this unique card.

Start by assembling the inside of the globe. Cut out the pieces for the snowman; decorate with buttons and pen. Use a circle template or cutter to cut three circles: two from a plastic sheet protector and one from white card stock. Rip the white circle in half to make the snowy background and glue to the back of the snowman. Sandwich the snowman between the plastic circles. Use temporary adhesive to keep the pieces together as you machine-stitch around the edges, leaving a small opening at the bottom. Add glitter flakes and close the hole.

For the base, draw the pattern onto a sheet of crafting metal and cut out. Emboss as desired and glue onto the bottom of the globe. Print your message on a sheet of card stock smaller than the card front. Use adhesive foam to attach the snow globe and embellish with square brads and floss.
