STAMP PATTERNS
Design by Robyn Werlich
Pull color from your photos. I wanted to use lots of colors for this challenge, so I found photos of my daughter wearing a colorful shirt. That gave me the inspiration for the scheme and the block-letter title.
Stamp a pattern. For each letter I used a different color of cardstock and hand-stamped a fun pattern. I also stamped across strips of cardstock cut with decorative-edge scissors. You can do so many things with cardstock, but stamping has always been a favorite technique of mine.
SOURCES Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! (green), Bazzill Basics Paper (all other). Font: Helvetica Neue Bold Condensed (“cute”), Helvetica Neue Light (journaling). Die cuts: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft (flowers), QuicKutz (circles). Stamps: Stampin’ Up! (“much love,” diamond border), Autumn Leaves (wavy dot, flourishes, circles), small dot (Michaels). Ink: Stampin’ Up!, VersaMark by Tsukineko (green). Thread: Coats & Clark. Punch: McGill Inc. (label). Scalloped-edge scissors: Provo Craft.
