Trim to save paper
1. Round the corners of the white embossed paper and then center and mount the piece on the 12" frame of pink embossed paper. By trimming out the center of the paper, Sarah was able to mat her page and save a large piece for other projects. Attach the pink-and-orange ledger paper horizontally across the page, about 3-3/4" from the top.
2. Attach 7" pieces of light green scallop-edge cardstock (not included) above and below the pink-and-orange ledger paper, flush with the edge of the white embossed paper. Cover the seam between the bottom of the ledger paper and the scalloped cardstock with the strip of patchwork paper. Cover the seam between the top of ledger paper and the scalloped cardstock with the strip of red fabric paper, cut around the words “I heart art.”
3. Mat four wallet-size photos on black cardstock and attach them as shown. Print and add white text on a black background for journaling and date strips. Attach white chipboard letters (Sarah doodled around hers for added interest), substituting the paper heart cut from the patchwork paper for the letter “o” for the title. Add square epoxy stickers from the kit to the patchwork strip for a finishing touch.
