Sisters
design by Mellette Berezoski
1. Attach the thin strip of plaid paper along the right edge of the large piece of green floral paper. Mellette stitched her pieces together. Round the corners of the square.
2. Punch a 1-1/4" half circle from the right edge of the paper and place a scrap of lilac cardstock behind the opening. Mount the patterned background onto a 12x12" piece of green cardstock with rounded edges.
3. Using a photo-editing program, Mellette combined her photos, title, and a font dingbat into a single 6x10" collage, but you could use a large photo or several smaller ones to fill that space. Round the bottom corners, add a strip of cardstock cut with decorative-edge scissors along the left edge of the photo, and then attach it as shown.
4. Print journaling onto scraps of cardstock, and mount them to the page as shown. Add buttons around the design and finish the page with a 3" floral accent, trimmed from the circle paper, matted on lilac cardstock, and topped off with a button.
ADDITIONAL SOURCES Cardstock, gem stickers: Making Memories. Fonts: Edwardian Script (title), Dream Orphans (journaling), wmdesigns1 (dingbat) off the Internet. Digital flower embellishment: Two Peas in a Bucket.
