Swim
design by Amy Licht
1. Using a photo-editing program, combine photos to form a
6-1/2x13-1/2” photo montage, leaving a blank space measuring about 2-3/4x4-1/2” for the title. After printing, cut the block into two pieces, centering and adhering each one flush with the outer borders on the 8-1/2x11” pieces of the turquoise paper.
2. Attach the strips of striped paper above and below each photo block. Mount the 1-1/8x6-1/2” strip of orange paper on the spread’s right page, filling in the gap between the patterned strips; then mount the smallest piece of the orange paper as shown
on the left page.
3. Amy printed her journaling on a premade tag, cleverly covering the word “guests” on the top with another tag on which she printed the word “highlights.” Attach the journaling on the left page, anchoring the smaller tag with brads. To embellish, Amy used several of the kit’s die-cut circles and tags around the design, adding hand-cut letters for her title.
