Girl
design by Jlyne Hanback
1. On a 12x12" piece of brown cardstock (not included in the kit), position the large piece of the striped brown/solid paper—solid side up—horizontally, about 1-1/4” from the bottom and 3/8” from the left edge. On the striped brown/solid paper, mount a 5x8" photo on the right side and a die-cut tag topped with ribbon in the upper left. Print journaling strips on the solid cream side of the paisley cream/solid paper, and layer them over the tag.
2. Using a template and a craft knife, cut a swirl pattern from the top of the background. (Save one of the cuttings for the title.) Attach the solid side of the largest piece of dotted green/solid paper behind the layout to peek through the cuts.
3. For the title, attach a cardstock flourish cut from the background under the journaling, and mount die-cut letters and punctuation over the top. To finish, add a die-cut border and photo tab, and embellish the swirls with a chipboard heart and dots of white puff paint.
