Create Molded Shapes

design by Lori Bergmann

Make your own custom molds with a quick-curing molding product. Starting with vintage buttons, produced several reusable molds to make clear epoxy buttons that can be dressed up to fit any page.

TIPS
Think reverse layers. Because these buttons are decorated from the back, make sure the letters read correctly when viewed from the front.
Select silicone-base molds. Unlike plastic or latex molds, silicon-base ones don’t require a release agent to prevent the epoxy from sticking. You also can use silicon molds to create shapes with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel or clay.
