String A Border

design by Leah Fung

Leah Fung unified her design with borders made of wire-threaded beads.

Tips
Secure it. To make sure her beads wouldn’t fall off, Leah used pliers to twist the end of the wires into circles and adhered the wire with dots of adhesive.
Have fun with shapes. Leah created a beaded swirl that mimicked the curve of her orange cardstock and some of the designs in her patterned paper.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper, stickers, ribbon: Chatterbox. Fonts: Jack (“afternoons”) off the Internet, Arial (title, journaling). Beads: Queen & Co. Wire: Darice. Thread: Coats and Clark.
