Applying Rub-Ons
design by Shannon Landen
One of today’s hottest scrapbooking products is rub-on type or shapes. Easy-to-apply rub-ons come in various colors, type styles, and sizes, giving you nearly endless opportunities to customize designs. In the layout above, Shannon applied rub-on type to metal frames to create a hinged photo frame, and she added rub-ons to a painted and embossed metal accent used in the lower right corner. For the colorful tag, Shannon grouped four metal photo corners into a square and applied rub-on letters on top. She also cut strips of crafting metal for the abstract decorations at the top and bottom of the tag, decorating the strips with rub-on circles.
