Cherish Card

design by Shannon Landen

Shannon purged her collection of eyelets and used them to make this attractive card. She started by adhering seven 1” strips of patterned paper and vellum to a folded sheet of cardstock. Using a heart-shape die cut as a guide, she made pencil marks on the card front to indicate the position of her eyelets and set them, nesting each in a washer. She dry-brushed gold paint in the center of the heart and added the rub-on words and letter stickers to complete the card.

SOURCES Patterned paper, vellum: Daisy D’s Paper Co. Eyelets: JewelCraft. Rub-ons, stickers: Making Memories. Ink: Rubber Stampede. Ribbon: Magic Scraps.
