Gift Album for Dad

design by Erin Terrell

Erin created a beautiful gift album using scrap pieces of craft metal to highlight the journaling blocks and to frame page elements. She covered the front of a purchased album with embossed paper, adding white ink to the raised areas. After covering the black inside pages with blue paper, she dry-brushed white paint over the surface and added metal strips. She continued to embellish with metal mesh attached with eyelets, leaving room for her photos and journaling.

SOURCES Album: K&Company. Rubber stamps: PSX. Ink: Clearsnap (blue), Memories by Stewart Superior (white, beige). Metal mesh, craft metal, rub-on words, eyelets, metal plaque, metal letters, ribbon: Making Memories. Acrylic paint: Delta.
