Embellish Paper Scraps
design by Polly Maly
Text stamps mounted on wood make long-lasting tools. They’re hardworking as backgrounds or journaling prompts, plus they’re just as suited for cardmaking as they are for larger designs.
Cards and tags go hand in hand. Polly nestled a die-cut ampersand—trimmed from stamped patterned paper—between tags decorated with the “Friends” and “Family” stamps. Letting nothing go to waste, she framed it all with a border trimmed from the leftover stamped paper.
SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: Chatterbox (pink), Dream Street Papers (green). Rubber stamps: Hero Arts. Die-cutting tool: Cricut by Provo Craft. Metal-rim tags: Making Memories.
